I'm in Wisconsin and have well water. It smells like sulfur and is full of nitrates. I don't drink it while pregnant.

Go buy a water test strip and test your water it'll make you feel better about drinking it

I think you will be fine drinking tap water. If you are really concerned then run it through a brita filter first
