Okay mommies.....I need some advice. Bub is 3 weeks shy of his first birthday and refuses to sleep through the night. He's up minimum of twice a night, average of 3 times, and some nights I can't even count how much he wakes up.... Most of the time he will not go back to sleep without feeding, he's bottle fed. He also won't sleep in his own bed very long, he will wake up within 20 minutes of being put in it and he will scream........ I need some advice on how to get him to sleep better, longer, and in his own bed. He also wont nap for more than 30 minutes during the day. (Maybe get two naps in for a total of an hour....unless we're driving then he may nap slightly longer)
Sometimes when he wakes up, no matter what my hubby or I do he screams....and it's not just 5 minutes, it goes on for at least an hour, screaming crying kicking.....we try everything to comfort him and it just results in all of us getting worked up and upset........
We've tried bath time before bed, tried laying him down while sleepy but not sleeping. Tried music. Tried bouncing him to sleep. Tried letting him cry while sitting next to him and talking to him to comfort him.....nothings helping.
I'm due to have our second child two days after he turns one....and I would really like to break this cycle beforehand........any advice would be GREAT.
*Note: I will not let my child cry it out for more than 10-15 minutes. I dont agree with CIO method so please don't tell me to just let him cry.......
Any bashing of my parenting will only result in me blocking you, so please don't waste your time..thank you!
I know the feeling ❤️ my guy was breastfed and didn't start sleeping better until I gently night weaned him. He sleeps mostly through the night maybe one or two wake ups which is normal for their age. He still sleeps with the crib side carred to our bed so I don't have much advice but I sympathize with you mama ❤️ we refuse cio as well.
since he was like 3 months old. we try for a couple weeks, no improvement we back off cause no one's sleeping and it causes my husband and I to fight since we're both sleep deprived...then try again.. and it doesn't work.
