Ok I'm 19 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I woke up at 5:30 and went to classes from 9-11. I grabbed some lunch and went shopping all day with my mother in law. Needless to say I had a full day of walking. Towards the end of the day my right calf/ankle kept cramping up. It did it about 4 times and I just pushed through it. Once I got home I sat down to rest and let the hubby unload my car. Once I rested I got up and cooked supper and it started again. After cooking supper and doing laundry I was almost in tears it hurt so bad. So I elevated my leg and then went to bed. This morning I got up and it felt fine, maybe a little sore. I got my husband ready for work, packed his lunch ect. And started getting ready for the day. That's when it started acting up again. Can any of you moms give me some advice? Is this normal while pregnant or did I over do it? Maybe I just pulled something yesterday? I have a doctors appointment Thursday so if it keeps up I'll ask my dr.
sounds like you over did it! although my leg has been trying to cramp a lot this pregnancy. but I think it's from over doing it. try soaking in an Epsom salt bath. (just dump an insane amount of Epsom salts in the tub and then run hot water and swish them as the tub fills til they dissolve! and soak for awhile!
Yes! If I walk to much my hip will hurt till I lay down for awhile! It's just the extra weight we have in the front now. You just have to take it easy!
