What are everyone's thoughts on castor oil ? My midwife suggested it as a last try before I have to be induced... Has it worked for anyone ? I'm only 1cm dilated as of 2 days ago and she said my cervix was still high..

My doctor suggested it. If you're close to being in labor it'll help get you there, if not it won't do anything...except act as a laxative. Allegedly.

Because of my preeclampsia, they are helping me manage  my blood pressure cause I wanted to at least make it to 40 in hopes she would come but they won't let me go past 40 ..I'm getting induced Wednesday at 7pm
