My son had it and they had us go to the lab a couple days after he was born to check levels again. Is that what you're going to the hospital for? My boy is just fine now. You can go out in the sun for a little bit, that can help.

@kmrie if they can't get it under control they send you home with a light I believe the level can't get to 25

Mt daughter did. her levels were just Hugh enough she didn't need the light I had to feed her every 2 hours on the dot for 2 weeks! it ducked but she's perfect and it's no big deal

I doubt it's that he's not getting enough, it's so he'll pee more to get the jaundice out

@kmrie both my kids had it and had to do the light at the hospital and at home. im sure you will get it under control. my so. was worse than my daughter. his was 11 when we left the hospital at the time i was breastfeeding and supplementing too and finally hooked him up to light 24/7 and stuck him in front of the door with the sun and it went away it did at one point get up to 18. and pricking him constantly sucked but they will and do get past it.♡
