has any body checked their own cervix to see if they are dialated or if their cervix is soft that can give me some advice or Intel on what it's supposed to feel like....? sorry if that's to much info

For dilation you measure by your fingertips. How many you fit in there will be how many cm dilated you are. It'll fell like a puckered rubber band feeling around your fingers.
Yeah I'm 35 weeks and have dropped a lot that's the only way I'm able to reach it....

I don't know about dilation but ur cervix will feel like the tip of ur nose and when soft the inside of ur cheek I'm still trying to figure out dilation
@ambiibambii, so when we check it feels like a thick straw? How will we know if it is soft :/ sorry i have never knew that was possible
No and yes depends on if u can reach around ur belly or not...your cervix will be a long thick straw kinda thing and it might be soft depending on how far in it is but I didn't think it was positive to feel it but I felt mine I just am not exactly sure what I was feeling I've never done it before @dollfacenanii
I'm not I did it in the morning yesterday and at night before bed....I just hate not knowing if I'm having back contractions or if it's just back pain from the way the baby sits....
