So I wanna breast feed but I want formula too & I feel like WIC really pushes breast feeding…

what type of formula does Wic offer...I plan on breastfeeding but just in case...I want to know...cause I don't want my kid drinking just anything if he decides not to take the breast

I know exactly what you mean...but honestly you just gotta put your foot down..& talk straight up because they do pressure you ...thats what I did...I told the lady Im doing both. she kept going about how bf is better I just looked at her & said IM DOING BOTH😒 & shE got it 😂😂😂

They offer multiple plans. If you exclusively breast feed, you get more food then you receive now. If you are formula and breast feeding, they give you less food, and a can of formula a month. If your exclusively formula feeding they give you 3 cans of formula a month and almost no food . If you breast feed only they will keep you for a full year of giving you food. If you formula feed they will give you food for 6 months then stop. I went to a wic thing last night so I learned allllll about these packages

Here in Illinois if you formula feed its 9 cans a month till 6 months then 7 cans, baby food and rice cereal. I think all states are different tho.

Yeah it's different for all states so I'd check up with that
