Doctor called and said since they cant hear a heartbeat at 8 weeks that ill miscarry. could he be wrong!!??

They didn't check my baby's heartbeat till I was 10 weeks and get couldn't hear it so they did an ultrasound and there was a healthy baby jumping around (: don't give up that doctor shouldn't tell you that unless he's 100% sure on it

that happened to me unfortunately i ended up losing my baby. but 8 weeks is still early .that dr is an ass for telling you like that he should do blood work first to check your hcg levels. just pray God has the last say in everything.dont give up.@maryjane53124,

yea that's not true they weren't able to hear my lil ones heart beat til I was 11 weeks now if they did an ultrasound and they couldn't SEE the heart beating then that's something different and I would be worried but with most people you can't hear the heart beat via Doppler til 11 or 12 weeks your doctor is crazy

That's what they told me. They also said my baby was measuring 6 weeks instead of 9 weeks that I will have a mis and 2 weeks later I did. For you it could still be too early to hear the heartbeat

Don't give up hope, these things happen quite a bit and baby turns out fine. Could be that maybe you aren't as far along as you think you are..

Was this via ultrasound? didn't he see the heart beating??

yes. my doctor didn't even try until around 12 weeks. your doctor is an idiot.
