My 2 week old doesn't want to sleep in his bassinet :( I've tried all techniques from the sleeping articles I've read and nothing seems to work. He only wants to sleep in my arms. So finally last night I gave in to his requests and let him sleep in the bed with me; He slept soundly all night only waking up twice to eat and he never cried. My poor baby just wants to be next to mommy D: but mommy really wants to establish good sleeping habits. Ugh, I hope I can eventually get him to sleep in his bassinet
@caracross1, I have; he cries bloody murder when he gets swaddled:/
Have you tried swaddling? My daughter loves to sleep in my arms too, but when I swaddle her, she'll sleep anywhere.
Try to leave him out of your arms more more...it can help him to get used to it
you can't really sleep train them until 3 months. he's still not used to being out of the womb and wants to be close to you cause it's his safety and comfort
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas?? I just don’t know how else to get him to sleep in his bassinet and not in my arms at night.
** I had no problem with my other two boys laying in their beds but Ryder refuses to leave me.**
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol
Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
Instead of buying a bassinet could my baby sleep in a pack and play beside my bed or a rock and play, until I feel safe with him sleeping in his crib in another room? I see no need in buying a bassinet when he will only be able to sleep in it for a few months anyways. No rude comments! 😀
My son keeps rolling over and sleeping on his stomach when he sleeps, should I turn him on his back or let him sleep how he wants?
same problem with my almost 2 week old. she has to fall asleep on my chest and she nurses herself to sleep then I put her in her bassinet.
