I regret getting the depo shot so much. When I first got it, I had my period for 2 months straight & then didn't get it for 8 whole months & now it seems like I stay on my period and I'm not even on the depo shot anymore. I get my period for a little over a week and then am off it for a week and then back on it again. & there isn't a day where I feel okay. If it's not stomach pains, it's nausea, or other symptoms. & on top of that, I gained a lot of weight. After I had Anavae, I was almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I got the depo shot and gained 20 pounds. I ate healthy, worked out 5 days a week (intense workouts for about 2 hours), and drank a ton of water and I still kept gaining weight and to this day, almost a year since I got the shot, I can't lose the weight I gained from it 😔 I wouldn't recommend the depo shot to anyone.

I'm the same way @caracross1 I was on 4 years then when we decided to have a baby it only took me 7 months now I'm back on it & no period I love it
@caracross1, I'm another lucky one (: Im on depo and I've been getting my pd every month as usual I only use a liner though since I hardly bleed and I haven't gained no weight (: Im actually loosing weight!
Everybody is different, I love the depo shot. Before getting pregnant I was on it for over 15 years, never had a period and never gained weight from it either. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones. Lol
I know right it's horrible, I had so many complications from it as well it took 3years for my body to get normal, all my hair fell out it was horrible

It's crazy when I see people say they didn't gain any weight on the Depo shot and when I was on it, I gained so much 😞

Ok so my sister whos normally fairly skinny has been asking to get on the depo shot with her her son is 6months and she wants to switch off her bc and get back on the depo shot since it made her loose weigh before. But me im on the fluffier side and wanted to know how the depo shot affected ppl who arent suoer skinny to begin with. Did it make them gain weight or have anxeity/depression issues?
I gotta question could I be pregnant and have 2 1/2 day period because I think i got pregnant on Nov 26 and had implantation bleeding on Dec 11 because I'm usually on my period for at least 4 days but mostly 5 or 6 which my full period was Nov 11 for 5 days ?? but in dec only 2 1/2 days it's kinda confusing really im excited about my Dr visit feb19 to know for sure :)
same thing happened to me. it's so hard losing it I got it the night before I left the hospital and my daughter is ten months and I haven't lost it yet. I've lost a few but I still feel so fat I hate it I was always skinny I.loved my body its weird being fat I never wanna get dressed or gl anywhere depo ruined my self esteem for real. I feel you girl
