i had an ultrasound today, and the tech said that I need to "stop eating so much garbage" (meaning sweets and carbs) because this is causing "too much fluid" in my stomach surrounding my baby. has anyone heard of having too much fluid ? I didn't think I was eating pure junk, I do eat a lot of cereal though and a bit of bread with my food to get full, but she made it seem like I must be eating cupcakes all day long. I hate their guilt trips 😒😒😒😒
that's awesome @jennatess ! guess it was just all that beautiful fluid Lol!
@jennatess, I wish she would have told me that instead!! I am 28 weeks and have gained 32 lbs, so I'm sure I'm gona end up gaining at least 45 lbs total :-/. did u lose the weight after baby ? @jennatess
My nurse said I had "the most fluid she's ever seen", and "so much beautiful fluid." Lol, so I'm not sure how so much fluid could be bad...?....I mean, unless there's a lot of weight gain. I gained 60lbs!
its not like I eat a lot of junk food I really try not to, but I guess those carbs are coming from cereals and bread from sandwiches
I got tested for GD recently and it came back negative, but I'm just so annoyed like what the heck am I supposed to eat just carrots and broccoli all day ? there's carbs in damn near everything that would actually fill me up... :( ...
well i guess im next in line.
and on a previous post another mommy had alot of fluid i dont know why though
I can honestly say I've NEVER heard of this! I can see how NOT eat or drinking would cause fluctuations in water but I've never heard of "Junk food" causing you to have too much fluid.
@katyloves.babyscarlett, hahah! Right?! I wouldn't worry - better too much than too little (;
