Ok so I'm back home from doc appt. I had my cervix checked and he said I'm almost 1cm and estimated that I could give birth within 1-5 days or so.
Also he said from the results .. I have group b strep ... He said once I start labor I will be given an antibiotics so it won't be passed on to the baby .
Should I be concerned? Any of u have that before ??

I had it and I got all the antibiotics that I needed, my son was and is healthy as can be! Don't worry, I got myself worked up for no reason.
I have it too and my dr told me it's nothing to worry about. At least 20% women get it and you get antibiotics during labor so baby does not get infected.
most women have group b strep I had it but didn't know cause I didn't make it to get tested I went to labor before they didn't start the antibiotics soon enough and thought the baby got it my son had to be tested after birth but didn't get it so if they know u have it they will start the antibiotics as soon as u go in so its nothing to be concerned about
I didn't have it. but I would Def suggest to not wait for the last min when you do go in for labor only because you never know how fast you will go and you'll want to make sure to get the antibiotics in before baby arrives :) I only say this cuz my labor went so fast after my water broke at home I didn't get to finish the bag of fluids they give you before the epidural before I had to push her out lol.... never got my epidural 😯

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls.
