It all depends on your history, what they find and how far you are willing to go. I told the doctor flat out we are not doing IVF bcuz its not covered by insurance and we are not about to go into debt to have a baby. My issue conceiving was structural, so I was referred to another doctor within the practice. The first doc based her assessment on my previous procedure and a vaginal xray type procedure she did in the office. So i had to have another procedure in January, i was pregnant by March as predicted by the second doctor.

At my appt they went over my history, drew blood, we met with a nurse and talked to the doctor. Depending in your history they'll make recommendations but they'll either draw blood or order blood work up if they dont do that at the office.
