I've always had problems with my weight. before I got pregnant with my son I was 125 and it was so hard to lose weight after b I have birth, big girl genes run in my family... I finally got down to a decent weight and this whole pregnancy I had lost weight and now I've put on 3 lbs and I feel like crying. I know going to put on weight and I have to for baby to be healthy I totally get it but it's a mind thing like gaining weight is such a hard thing to go thru.

I know exactly how you feel! before I got pregnant I was 120 then I ended up losing 7 pounds and I was okay with that because I didn't gain weight but dr was not happy. now my dr is happy with my weight because I'm like 128 but it breaks my heart to see me keep gaining weight. so trust me you aren't alone, I fight with body issues for years now

I have body image and weight issues so I know where you're coming from. I was 10lbs heavier than I wanted to be when i got pregnant. So far at my last appt I have gained 16lbs! I'm not happy but I know its what needs to happen to have a healthy baby and pregnancy. My doc is fine with the weight gain and she keeps reminding me the weight isn't just extra weight but your carrying around extra blood, the weight if the baby, the placenta and amniotic fluid. All that adds up so it makes me feel a tad better but its hard to see the numbers go up. @morgynsmama

thanks girls, it's hard for sure but I didn't really factor in the placenta and blood and ect... my doctor has been wanting me to gain weight so she will be happy but I just feel like I'll never lose it. I know I have to deal with it for the baby but that doesn't really make it easier for me.
