I use that word a lot but being honest I don't like it either lol.
But I use it because I'm technically not married to him yet which is a but depressing to me :/ we had to cancel and reschedule our wedding three times due to family issues and health issues. The word fiance or boyfriend kinda hurt because it's a reminder of what I didn't get to have yet. But If I say husband my family throws a fit saying I don't get to say that since we're not married 😦 though I can't wait until I don't have to use hubby anymore lol its a word that always bothered me
