what if u were a working pregnant single mom and your job didn't have PTO for maternity leave and saving just wouldn't be enough what would u do how would u still be able to pay your rent and your car note
its like when your doing so well something always go wrong I mean I'm happy I'm carrying a child but I'm scared as well because I DONT have the luxury of some women who have family or baby daddy's to help or take care of them
yea that's natural with anything u don't have control over. but once u pray about it ,its out of your hands . u do what u can for self and baby and don't underestimate yourself.. After all ,your about to have a baby, and in my opinion, that's the biggest accomplishment of all 😃
I pray I'm just so scared of outcome its just me I DONT wanna lose my car or my apartment
im on the same boat luv i was thinking just geting cash till i go back to work
You don't use your pto for maternity leave call your insurance and get short term disability . And most company's offer maternity leave . Pto is separate that's a crewed vacation time or some company's bundle it with sick pto . They can't fire you and deny you . Hope that helps (I've been a manager for a long time ) lol
we are DEFINITELY in the same position... everything will work out. just got to pray to God to get us through. put up a Lil money or gone n pay up a few things now while u can...
And look into getting some type of assistance if u qualify for state aide. I know in some states u qualify for disability when ur out on maternity leave but not all. For example NJ does but PA doesn't so check into that too.
OK but some people can't just go right back to work I might be having a C section as well
man I'm only 10 weeks pregnant but I'm stressed
@nursebetti, see I DONT even have that option to move in with anyone not even family
so what do i do when im do. as a single mother because I DONT have no one helping me at all its just me any advise
Pretty much the position I'm in too. Little to no savings with having to pay this high deductible for my insurance. I'm getting six weeks unpaid and have little to no PTO. I cut back a lot of things like traded in my car for a cheaper one, cut down my cable significantly. Anything to save money.
I'm in that situation actually, I have 12 weeks off all unpaid and I don't have pto, we are putting as much away as we can before baby and he is going to continue to work while I'm off, other then that we are just going to pray we get through it! It's so stressful girl.
I would put your rent and car payment money away. that way you wouldn't have to worry about either. I hope everything works out for you.
