Feeling really overwhelmed tonight. It's my first night back with Genevieve after staying in the hospital for four days of recovery from the c-section. Sammy works third shift and has to leave in about an hour, so he's been sleeping since we got home around 2:00 this afternoon. I'm scared that I can't handle this first night on my own. The nurses at the hospital were so wonderful to me and helped more than I thought they could. I keep getting close to crying and trying to stop myself because I'm holding her, but now I just can't help it - the tears are flowing, and I hardly even understand why 😩😩😩 I'm so unbelievably happy that she's here, so why am I so upset right now?

You know how you're hormonal as fuck while pregnant? They don't tell you there's even more hormones afterwards. Plus babies hormones! You can get through this, and if you need to cry, then cry!!! It's very scary doing something new like this, but you know what you're doing! It's all instinctual and it'll come to you. You may feel overwhelmed but we are made for this. You got this, momma!

I just had my baby on the 10th. Theres times i feel like busting out in a cry and i dont have a clue as too why he is so perfect hardly cries. U know hormones are such a hard thing to deal with and then u add any fears u may have and its lik wham! Instant tears dont beat urself up hun ur gunna get thru it hang in there :-)
