try to get him in the habit early. feed him, burp him, bathe him with a baby lavender wash & put him in the crib. If he constantly falls asleep in your arms or bed then that is where he will want to be.

You can try a shirt that you have worn all day and lay the baby on top of it when you put the baby in the crib as well as try giving the baby a pacifier
