When is a good time for a baby shower? How many weeks?

@dasia, That's great, it's my brothers bday. :) I have a family bday every Saturday in Oct, (plus Halloween), except the 17th, so I think that's when I want to do mine.

I'm having a little baby shower Oct 10 but imma be 36 weeks

I am thinking October 17 too! My mom, sis & mother in law offered to throw mine, but I'm 28 wks now & nothing is planned. So I guess I will need to do something lol.

@mommi1315, Cool! What is the date? Trying to plan & looking at the calendar, the best date for me will be at about 33.5 weeks.

I'm having mine at 32 weeks

@arielmarietalks, I think your way is better. I need to get involved cuz sadly I don't think they're planning a surprise, they're just slacking & I don't want to miss out.

Definitely speak up! I can't help myself and I'm supposed to let my mom plan but I'm not very good at surprises because I wanna know them. Hahahaha. @varduim

10/10 is a great date! Plus maybe it will cool off a little more by then. I hope yours goes well. :) My mom, sis & mother in law are supposed to throw mine... but doesn't seem like Anything is planned. I threw my sis' shower 2 years ago & did hers at 28 weeks. I had it planned a couple months ahead. I guess my expectations are too high lol. Thanks though, maybe it's time I speak up & at least set a date.

I totally understand! Mine was originally scheduled for Sept 5, but my mom postponed it to October 10th because she needed more time to plan! I'd say try and plan it, and have it before 35 weeks or by the time you are 35 weeks!

I'll be 31 weeks when I have mine. With my first I think I was about 28ish weeks.
