@jamies, and I know she's going to try to announce her arrival before us and I'm like that's a negative. haha

I would tell her you don't want any pictures posted on social media and if she can't respect that not to come and not to be taking pictures

lol that sucks im so sorry to hear about her not being there the whole pregnancy. I'd think she'd be happy and be there when she can. my mom and his mom where and are happy and Always coming around and buying things. I wish your experience was different hunny sorry.

@february2016, funny thing is this is her first grandchild and she could care less but if it was his sister having a baby, she'd be spoiling her. but thank you!

I know how you feel! I'm worried about my MIL and SIL's posting about her arrival before I do! :/ I've told my fiancée we just need to sit them down and talk to them about it. I hope it helps. I know it won't be easy though and it will seem confrontational, but this is my first and I don't want our moment taken away!!! I'm sorry you're going through this! Is there any way you can convince your BF to agree to not announce the arrival of your baby to your MIL until baby is here? That way you don't have to tell her anything, like that you're in labor, she's almost here, ect. Then once she arrives, you can bond for a bit then let him make the call. It also gives you time to make your announcement! :)

@ashleymarietv, I told him to tell her when I was in labor if he wanted but that I didn't want anyone showing up until after she's here and we're settled. She even got mad when my boyfriend told her that my mom would be the one with me when I'm in labor lol. Like why would I let you be there if you haven't checked up on us once. but I might just tell him not to tell her anything until she's settled. but I will be telling his dad and stuff because they're 5 hours out. :)
