Good Morning to all mommies!..I plan on getting the Epidural I was just wondering does the Epidural injection hurt?
It stung a lot but I felt it was worth it tho . Didn't feel a thing when I had my c section.
@cutiepie, I was the same way but what helped me was asking questions. I stayed on top of everything they did because I wanted to know what the heck they were doing to me exactly
@ce5ce, oh I'm sure. I'm going in any day now and as you can tell I'm nervous because I don't know what to expect. 😐
it hurt me. a lot. but the pain lasted maybe a minute before everything started to numb down. I'm happy I got it.
@cutiepie, no problem. I just have birth two months ago so the memory is fresh. there's a lot of things people don't mention about giving birth that we should know
I worked well for me because I had a great nurse. she propped my body on one side for a couple minutes then switched sides so that it wouldn't just take to just one side if that makes sense
bullshit!!! IMA tell you the truth. they give you a shot to numb the epidural and THAT shit pinches, like OUCH. then when they insert the epidural its okay but it's going in your spine so you hear more than feel the popping as it enters your spine. with all that being said, is worth it cause those contractions are a MOFO. I was the first one to say oh no epidural for me, no way but the pain in the contractions compare to no other so forget it, I caved. I had 3 contractions during the whole thing. I had to make my whole body limp like I didn't care about anything to keep still but it was so worth it. after that my body dilated from 3-10cnt in less than an hour. two tips: when their ready to give it to you make sure it's right after a contraction and tell them to give you the lowest dose of epidural so you can feel enough to push. if the lowest dose isn't enough they can always make it stronger but they can't make it weaker.
@ce5ce, yes 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 it hurts like hell
