Real Contractions Are When Your Belly Gets Really Really Hard? 😷
I think a woman's instinct is usually right when it comes to this kind of stuff. If you feel like you want to wait it out a little bit longer, do it if that's what will make you comfortable :) just keep an eye on it, keep timing it, and if they seem to be getting more intense definitely don't hesitate to call! I'm sure they get woman coming in all the time. And if they're making fun of you for being concerned about your body, they need to get a different job! But feel free to message me tonight, anytime, if you don't know what to do! And I'll try to help out as best I can! I'll even try to call my hospitals on call staff to see what they say :) just let me know!
yeah i have their transportation. number only tho... i dont wanna call them n make em pick me up and make a fool of myself cause ive seen alot of moms post abt stuff like that nurses making fun of em... n im really sensitive rn... @aboutellesbabe
Are you able to look up the hospital's number that you are planning on delivering at? You can try calling them and speaking with an on-call nurse! Just to see what their opinion is. I could be totally wrong, I don't want to freak you out or anything! I just know my moms story, which can be great and the easiest labor ever!
idk who to call i dont have my doctors number i dont even remember his name 😱 its hard to pronounce and i dont wanna worry my dad or my bf and its late xc @aboutellesbabe
Hm :/ and your 37 weeks? I'm just worried that you could be going into labor! If they're coming every 4ish minutes. My mom said for my youngest brother she was describing sort of what you are, literally had two major contractions... And Sam was delivered! So every woman is different! You should call just to be safe!
i move n its still hard...it lasts for like a min or less...@aboutellesbabe, @heykaidensmom, i wouldnt try it either....
pregnancy is def crazy. if you feel like you have questions or something wrong doesn't hurt to call L&D better to be on the safe side !!
:( im also worried that my daughter could be low on fluid... my son was low... @aboutellesbabe
They say if you move or switch positions and the contraction goes away then it's a BH but if it doesn't that's another indicator that they're real!
@alex1azariyah2, I wouldn't try, it can be dangerous.. Drink some water and see if that helps. And get some rest. If you're worried call your doctor in the morning😊
Sometimes I don't know when they're happening. I'm 38 weeks and have had like a total of 4 BH contractions. I asked my doctor if that was normal and she said everyone has them just not everyone feels them the same. So I'm having them I'm just mistaking it for something else or they're just so light I don't feel them all together. I haven't had a really contraction yet.
no they havent checked me yet... i heard u can check urself but what do i know... @heykaidensmom
well shes been balling up all day today :/ really uncomfortable@mommasunn
Do you know if you're dilated? You could be staring to go into labor like the early stages. @alex1azariyah2
it could also be baby balling up. usually contractions will have some type of pain behind it. whether some tummy or back pain. it's not totally intolerable. but it can be a nuisance
i walk and lay down and it is still hard but than it fades away but like mins later bam its all hard again,,, @heykaidensmom
well i can tolerate pain... thats why i dont know... but it keeps getting hard like 3or4mins apart i just feel uncomfortable... @heykaidensmom
you gonna always feel them, when mines 1st started they wasn't as painful then further along it get harder
I feel like it depends on your pain tolerance.. I hate pain and I can't stand the slightest bit, so I could feel mine really really bad, but I'm a ftm. @alex1azariyah2
but there are some people that can have contractions and not feel it right? @heykaidensmom @mommasunn @iheartriley
okay thank u so much :'( @aboutellesbabe
