For me im getting induced because im not going to go on my own and my doc doesnt want me to be over my due date @dollfacenanii

Most the time you get induced if something's going on with you or baby . I got induced at 37 weeks because I had high blood pressure throughout my pregnancy and it was affecting my baby . It's just a jump start to labor but it's still labor like I was induced but I was in labor for 16 hours

I go tomorrow to see if I'll be induced. I'm hoping I don't have to be because I don't want some of the meds they use like pitocin. I have health issues and my doctor wasn't sure I'd go into labor on my own. I was dilated to 2cm on my own but last appointment I was back down to less than 1cm. so she wants to check again and judge from there

You get induced if either something medical is going on with you and baby to where you have to deliver or Your over due and not going into labor on Your own they give you medicines such as pitocin to Help you contract and when I contract you dialate So therefor it puts you in labor

Thank you ladies! Yeahh i have a bicornuate uterus so i may end up giving birth before 37 weeks i thought inducing was something else
