my first appointment is next week on the 16th but I'm not even sure If I'm going to get to see my little peanut

They did an internal ultrasound at my first appt and I was 6 weeks

You will see just a that a peanut. 😊 they def can do one that early

I didn't see my baby boy until after week 12, but I got to hear his heartbeat on the doppler monitor at all my appointments

they do to get a acquit due date

I think its different for each doctor. with mine I went they did a pregnancy test and then they did the blood work and my appointment after that they did an internal ultrasound

I really hope I get to at least hear the heartbeat or something to tell me baby is growing healthy and everything looks good @sassymccrum @kaygrig @williams15

yea I was thinking the same thing but I already went for my blood work confirming that I was pregnant now this appointment is with my OB but I was just wondering because they game me a packet to fill out and it said my first ultrasound won't be til I'm 20 weeks :/ @frances.gln92

It will be the internal ultrasound like @frances.gln92 said. It's uncomfortable but when you hear the heart beat you forget the thing is even in there ☺️

its interesting @mommytobe_ because right after they did my blood work and everything they did my ultrasound I was around 8 weeks when they did mine you should ask why they are waiting till your 20 weeks

on my first appointment they asked me a lot of questions about myself and family history took blood pressure, and got a pee sample and done the internal ultrasound and i was 9w 2d.

Oh I feel I might not be that far along then idk I will be 7 weeks and 4 days when I go. well I guess I will just find out when I actually go lol thanks though :) @frances.gln92 @tylersbaby30

it depends on where you're going. my hubbys insurance finally kicked in so I won't be stuck going to the lame ass health department. they make you wait 18 weeks to see the baby. so lame and unfair. when you go to an actual obgyn, they usually do it at your first visit. I'm going to pick one that does it at your first visit.

yea I'm going to the one that's in the army base since we live there lol and I have prime apperantly it covers everything @mandapanda25 yes I will ask because I just want to make sure everything is going the way it's suppose to @frances.gln92

same here. my husband has tricare and we have prime, but we are switching to standard so that I can get to an actual obgyn. I don't particularly wanna deal with the base
