I am NOT looking for criticism on the choice to get our son circumcised. I just have a quick question:
So the last time Brette ate was at 10:30. I tried to feed him when we got home from his procedure at 1:30. He is really sleepy and won't eat though. Is the reason for that because of the sugar water they gave him during the procedure? When will he want to eat again? I'm already a little bummed his eating schedule is thrown off.
Okay. He's gaining weight at a good rate. He was born 6.7, was 6.3 when we left the hospital and now at 2 weeks he is 7.9 so I think he'll be okay to not eat until he's ready...thank you. @wyatts_mommy_0106
they did the same with my son he went 2 extra hrs without eating afterwards I just let him sleep and even he woke up he was ready to eat
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Rant: my son is almost 16 months, yes, I whoop his butt when he runs from me when I try to change his butt or get him dressed, and yes, I spank his butt if he flips over during a diaper change, and yes I smack his hand when he hurts other people, and yes, it has helped a lot.
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
So Charlies started crying when im feeding him solids was getting stressed thinking why wont he eat.. but when i offer him finger foods he will happily eat.. its like he just wants to do it himself! Anyone else had this?
Your welcome mama. That's good! Yeah the Dr that delivered my son also did his procedure when he was 6 weeks old and my son was a preemie and I asked him if he wasn't awake by the next bottle and I woke him up and he didn't want it what do I do and he said he should be fine a couple extra hrs without eating wouldn't hurt him. but he will let you know when he is hungry my son woke up screaming for a bottle ate and went back to bed
