What are the risks of being induced? My doctor said that on the 23rd if baby is breech, we will have a c-section. However, if we go in that day and he isn't breech, she's giving us the option to be induced so that I can have him naturally (i know it won't be completely natural with the inducing included). But we would do that so that he doesn't flip back over and then have to schedule a c-section again.. I don't know what to do :(

From what I've heard if you are induced you could potentially end up having a c-section... But that's only a possibility. I'd say go with what your doctor says, if you feel you want to try naturally then do it but if he's still breech then c-section it is. Good luck

I would just go for the c-section... They told me my daughter flipped in the last few weeks but because of other reasons we decided to go to do the c-section... got in there and the doctor said "Well its a good thing we decided to de this she is breeched! That was her butt in the birth canal!!!

My csection was good didn't feel a thing just saw him afterwards. And cause I gave birth at 34weeks I didn't have him in my room at all😢, That way when I was feeling better after the narcotics luckily he was down the hall from me and I got to see him as much as I liked to

I'm having a c-section next Tuesday on the 15th due to my little one being breech

My water broke on its own but I needed Pitocin to help get my contractions going, so I was kind of induced. I had a wonderful experience. If it was unsafe your dr wouldn't suggest it. Everyone's experience is different, hopefully if you are induced things go smoothly for you!

from what I understand that if the baby is breech u can do a natrual birth but there r risks to it I'm doing a c-section cause I believe that is the safest way to bring my daughter into this world

i had to be induced with my first pregnancy (this is my 3rd) and the baby was perfectly healthy. it was a long labor process but she was perfectly fine. they started pitocin at 6 pm on a Friday night and I had her the next night at 9 p.m.

@dannie992, so did they say what they would do for you if you went in for the c-section and your baby happened to flip back to the normal position?

my doctor told me I had the option that it was my choice to have a c section done or to have a natural birth I had not been told what they could do if I went in the day of my scheduled c-section and if things would change if she had flipped back my guess is that they would either continue with the c-section or induce at that point
