@valerie_jean, your right tho some doctors say differently but you always know your own baby yourself your best way an if he's thirsty I suggest you let him get a taste
@valerie_jean, Yeah well my son isn't an infant anymore he's 3 months about to b 4 so when I went to the doctors I was already giving him 2 sips here and there of water or an ounce the most... And plus his doctor said I can start giving him water maybe the most 3 ounces you know... It's hot out so I rather give him water than just let him die of thirst...
You didn't give me information you just said I need to be educated on water toxicity, when I just stated what my sons doctor said. Not like I pulled those facts out of nowhere. I was just being curious what her son's doctor said because doctors are different and give different info. it can mess with their kidneys but I used to give my son just a little bit a day and he's fine I would just say no more then two ounces, if your dr gave you the ok then I'm sure he will be fine.
His doctor said because they're so little it's easy for their insides to actually drowned from water. But whenever I give him water he loves it lol
