So I'm a cashier at a grocery store and just recently I've been working an increased amount of hours along with that I've called in a couple of times due to contractions or cramping. So I get my schedule for this next week and I have two days off.. I don't understand why they schedule me so much when I can barely be on my feet for more than 4 hours -_- I don't know what to do!

Your 35 weeks. I would not go back until 7 weeks after the baby is born . I'm a cashier at sams club too and it gets hectic .

Yeah and my manager hasn't said anything about maternity leave. Like I wasn't planning on leaving till I had him but if they're gonna keep me working 25-30 hours a week.. that's just too much for me. The standing part is literally the only bad thing about it. @k.haotic

Have you spoken with the manager about it. Don't be rude about it obviously but very bluntly say look I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I just can't do the same amount of hours that I could earlier in my pregnancy, I apologize for the inconvenience and I love working for this company and want to continue working here for a long time. I just can't physically do that amount of hours anymore... Something like that. Some ppl say you should never apologize for being pregnant, but I feel like you get what you want more when you're polite and sweet haha ;) hope work life gets better for you soon darlin
