Can anyone tell me when did they notice stretch marks? I seem to not have any yet but I'm sure they are coming.
@lilymama, yeah, you have to accept that often it is unavoidable! Genetics are a big factor. However, I am sure by staying hydrated, that you dramatically decreased what you would've gotten.
I haven't gotten any yet and what I use every morning and every night is coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
I also recommend Mother's Special Blend, but I've recently found this Alba lotion to be much more hydrating. Even my SO has been making comments about my skin being super soft, so i know I'm not imagining it lol! And after pregnancy, I'll be using Rosehip seed oil to fade anything I might get (it's not recommended to use during pregnancy.)
@mamalamadingdong, I drink so much water!! Moisturize daily. I seriously thought I was gonna get lucky and they would skip me. I don't have a lot, hopefully this is as worst as it gets for me.
First and foremost, the absolute most important thing you can do even if you do nothing else is drink water. Lots of water. I rarely drink anything else, but I know that's hard for a lot of people to do. No lotion or cream or oil can spare you from stretchies as much as internal hydration can. My next line of defense is my favorite product ever, I'll post a pic in a minute....
Like at 32 weeks. I thought I was in the clear but got a few in my lower belly.
Okay yes I use that too but I'm afraid I'm still going to get those stretch marks at some point....hopefully I get lucky though
I noticed mine at 8 weeks. they are small ones but I still see them growing
I'm 31 weeks and I haven't gotten any, but I swear it's because of the regimen I use, but only time will tell over these next 9 weeks. With my first pregnancy, I got a lot of them starting around 25 weeks. It wasn't until after my pregnancy that I corrected them, but they ended up fading dramatically. Each person's skin type and genetics is different so you can really compare to anyone else.
I started noticing them coming in at 18 weeks. really sucks
