Need advice. If I go to school tomorrow, and tell them I need to either go school for a couple of hours, or work from home because of my pregnancy. Do you think they will do either one for me? They know I'm pregnant, I just can't be on my feet, up and down for 6 hours.

I was never in school in year 11 as I was also pregnant and going through an abortion and I still got 10 GCSEs and I didn't revise so you should be fine xx
you could always ask to be in a room ,if its the walking, where you wouldn't have to move and work could be brought to you? id ask about your options @taerx xx
True, but all I know is that I can't do 6 hours everyday in school. Not the way I've been coping recently, I'll have to call the women I work with around my pregnancy, tomorrow
They probably think the longer that you're there the better. as they can help you more. After all there's no point turning up for exams that you haven't been and done the work for. However if you're not going to school but will actually work from home then that could be better. Like I say, it's best to sit and discuss it with them. They would be making plans for you. teachers do A LOT more talking about students and their needs than you realise.
They said when I start to feel uncomfortable, I can work from home, but don't know whether to tell them now. I haven't been to school in a while, think they've just gave up on me lol. I'm in my last year, they said I can go back for my exams
It probably won't be that simple . you have to complete a certain amount of hours to still be considered full time education (which is a legal requirement) however I'm sure the school had a contingency plan for you/ have discussed this in their back to school meetings/ will happily sit with you and discuss your needs and come up with a suitable plan.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
