I was afraid of the same thing. that's why I figured I would try just 1 on kyler at first. and with that you can see how alaura handles it. youll know if she isn't ready yet.

I started kyler at 6 months. I gave her one And watched what she did with it

I only gave him one veggie Gerber a day and rice cereal once in a one. when he turned 8 months. I started give him two Gerbers a day when I see he isn't full I give him a couple puffs after his food and some juice. By any chance do you go to wic ? they gave me a few papers that talks about how much food a day they need

@xaviersmommy, thank you! that's what I was concerned about, how many times a did you feed him food? they said to keep her formula number one but I want to give her a snack or something during the day 😁

I tried giving my son a little puff when he was 6 months and he couldn't eat it. he was almost choking on it, even tho they melt after a while. he didn't know what to do with it. I felt like he wasn't ready so I gave it a try again at 8 months and he can chew it now and he grabs his own and puts it in his mouth. you should test it out and see if she's ready for it.

@babyg2015, Alauras fascinated by anything we eat lol! of course she can't have it but she sure tries

lol awww i think you when she's ready... they start opening their mouths more and reaching for food...i think we will start real soon.! 😊

@babyg2015, I do as well, she loves food lol but they said to make sure it doesn't get in the way of her formula

i have them to heni at 7 months. but you could always try and see if she is ready for them!!
