has anyone on here ever had BV during pregnancy?? it's common during pregnancy and I had it when I was pregnant with my son, but it never caused a beige looking color ( spotting) before. I got to see the baby yesterday and seen the heartbeat. everything is measuring right as well... but since yesterday morning , when I wiped, there was a beige color to the urine on the toilet paper, and when I noticed I had some on my finger and it looked white .. then I wiped it on the toilet paper, it looked beige again. is it possible that it's just urine mixed in with the discharge or could the discharge be from the BV ?

BV causes colored discharge and if you're dehydrated at all your pee could be dis colored too. It can also cause a nasty smell too.

well I do wake up with dark urine but I don't think it's from dehydration. I drink a lot of water. maybe it's from my prenatals that's making my urine dark and could be mixed in with my normal discharge making it look Brown? lol @punkysam13 pu

Yes I had bv in the very beginning and was prescribed flagyl for ten days and now I think it's back...I never had it before this pregnancy and this is my third baby

Also at 6 weeks I was still having implantation bleeding which I also never experienced with my two older daughters so I still had pinkish brown discharge/spotting when I was as far as you are along now

I was prescribed that , but on the paper it said to not take it during pregnancy. so I threw it away. when I have my ob appointment, I'm going to let them know I was diagnosed with it and that I need to take something for it. Maybe they will give me something that won't hurt the baby

You can take flagyl. It's the best thing to treat BV and BV is common in pregnancy.

I had it as well. They prescribed me antibiotics and it went away within a week.

It could be your prenatal. I've never had my prenatal change my pee color. lol. Different ones have different side effects tho. It's definitely something you need to have treated. A lot of medication says not to take while pregnant or consult a doctor before you take it if you're pregnant. If the doctor who prescribed it knew you were pregnant you shouldn't be worried about taking it.
