Happened to me! At the hospital they gave me an ointment the brand is medela its great and gave me lots of relief 😊

At the hospital they also sAid the best thing to do is to rub your colostrum of milk on your nipple and let it air dry...

💔 just hang in there this is my second week. Today it's been horrible. I cried and kind of screamed at one point. She got so scared and started crying I had to put her down and regroup. The medela ointment really does work and also the lansinoh also a nipple shield. Try pumping and feeding her. I think I will do that tonight bc the pain is unbearable at this point. Don't let this discourage u. Maybe it will b good to take a break and try to get her back on. When u bottle feed her try to do it with the wide nipple bottles of you could. yeah, I think this was my breaking point lol. I cried a few days ago...its been hurting for about a week now. I'm trying to not let it, I felt horrible buying the formula but I need a break. I can't even pump @kibella22

yes, but if you want to keep bf pump or something so you don't loose your supply

btw when they're "swollen and sore" your more than likely engorged.. you can pump the milk for relief

I know the feeling! 😢 I dread every feeding and pumping I find an excuse my breasts are so engorged right now. Don't feel bad. U can always breastfeed again specially a day or two later. I do recommend u try to pump tho, when u start feeling better so ur milk supply is not affected. Yes u can put on that cream even when ur not breastfeeding... Trust me if you do that you will feel so much better by Sunday.

use a nipple shield after they heal... do the bare breastfeeding once a day...

She's not latched correctly. I gave it up for two days. I wanted to bf so bad so I tried again and now I'm happy I did. Now I'm a pro. I would let my nipples heal for a couple of days or so and then try again. It is hard the first month but usually if you go a month you can go two and so on. Keep trying momma. Continue to pump.

Yes I was :) I did take a break tho my nipples were horrible and scabbing it was so painful
