Okay, so last night wasn't the best, which women in their third trimester rarely get good sleep anyway.. I also have strep throat, which means I kept waking up having to clear my throat just to breathe correctly. I kept getting worried because I would wake up and wouldn't feel Lynlee move, and she normally moves ALL night. The fact that she wasn't moving had me in a panic that I wasn't getting enough oxygen or something. Anyway, I started crying and my husband told me to stop being so anxious. I felt like she might have been suffering or going through something that I couldn't physically help her with and it made me feel awful. Of course she is fine, and she is bouncing around this morning.. But am I the only one like this? I'm an anxious person anyway, but especially when it comes to her. I feel silly for freaking out now, but I'm guessing it's just the natural thing to do, especially with the first pregnancy.

Don't feel bad honey! I had a SERIOUS cough when I was like 28-30 weeks along (doctors thought it might have been bronchitis, but test results came back negative, so it was just some bug that my body had to fight off on its own), and I was just like you - worrying that somehow my illness was hurting the baby or stressing her out when I would wake up and have coughing attacks. She's okay though, don't worry. Keep yourself plenty hydrated and get lots of vitamin C! As long as you're still feeling her move around on a regular basis, you're doing a GREAT job!!! I hope you start feeling better soon! Being sick while pregnant is an awful feeling 😘😘
