emotional rant: I wanna break down and cry right now!! but my husband won't let me. He tells me to "be strong because I already knew about my son condition but no one never really confirm it. we prepared for this and we will get through this". Lady's please pay attention to your children look for any signs and never say they will grow out of it!! I'm a mother with a child that has Autism 💙

thank you @royce_nikol it started out as a learning disabilities and speech impairment, as he got older he never got better, little examples whenever he hear loud noise it will irritate him so he get frustrated or he will repeat patterns like always separating objects in colors and he never can't do things in 3 with me or his repeating it to him. so his school psychologist started working with him for 3 years before diagnosing him. this year this day is his 3 year mark

He's just as beautiful and important as he was before you found out this news... I can imagine this is scary for you but you're a mama and you can handle this and more. Try not to stress, just love your family and accept the love they have for you 💙💙 i@iheartriley

Did you see any signs as a baby ??? I'm only asking because my toddler doesn't speak and everyone says that I should give him time but when my daughter was his age she spoke clearly

@iheartriley, My heart goes out to you. My younger sister had three kids and ALL THREE have autism. Her oldest barely speaks (he's 10) but can communicate. Her middle has severe autism, he only days a few words and can get uncontrollably violent if he doesn't get his way (he's 8), her youngest has a mild case, she speaks well but is very so slow. It's hard work for them but they get by. Keep your head up!

Just have faith and keep your head up. My younger brother was a normal baby, talking and even saying sentences. That was up until he turned 3, and out of nowhere just shut off. Stopped talking completely and just always in his own world. My mom was devastated. He would have these days where he would just sit on the sofa and cry. Cry for hours and no one knew what was wrong. He's 17 now, and very independent and communicates to us in his own way. To have a child like that is a blessing, it really is. Makes you into a better person in every way possible. You will see. Good luck

Also the beginning years in the life of a child with autism is crucial for learning independence for them. There is this school in Sacramento Ca, I believe that caters to autistic children from when they are 3 all the way till they are 18. They teach them life skills and help them if they have behavior problems. It's really important to start young with educating them and getting your son into a good program asap. The sooner, the better the chances are of them helping him communicate and learn to be more independent. We started late with my brother cuz we didn't know it was autism until he was 6... There's a documentary on Netflix about autism, and plenty of videos on YouTube....

thanks @firdous2015 yeah we had him programs since he started school, but they was just focusing on his learning disability. since I work in the mental health field I always seen signs but they always said he was to young. its like I use to deal with it at work daily and get through it not affecting me but to have me my son diagnosed with it hurt.

@iheartriley, I understand how you feel. That's your baby! How could it not hurt. I would be too. Good luck raising your little man.
