does anyone have any recommendations for how to treat a 7 week old with a cold?

My son has one and when his nose gets stuffy I put a drop of water in it/or saline and suck the boogers out, and a dose of infant tylonel for his cough and congestion, and it stays gone. I did it once a day, for two days and he's been a lot better.
