@jkkl85, it has cleared up and gotten a lot better over night she is barely gooping anymore. I called dr again they said warm and cold compresses and that is helping I do it every couple hours

I have a little god sister who got something like that when she was maybe close to one or a little older. Hers was called Periorbital cellulitis and she also had a blocked tear duct. That puss like stuff kept coming back even when we would keep wet cloths on it. She had to use antibiotics and drops to get rid of it. The doctors told her mom it could lead to being blind. I don't know if it's the same thing but I remember her eye looked just like that, and it would be stuck together.

That does look like the start of pink eye just get a cloth with warm water and wipe

Oh yeah, a fever would be an issue. That's probably just what it is. My little boy had it when he was a newborn! Just a warm compress helps a lot!!!

there is no urgant care open right now but I will make an appointment first thing tomorrow. thank you @maddieg4648 and @jkkl85 . I thought it may be a blocked tear duct as well @coraanne thats what the esrlier signs led me to believe. the good thing is she is not running a fever.

@amrafferty, if there is an urgent care open, I'd suggest taking her in ASAP.. In case it is pink eye they can get her meds sand treated right away! Both my kids have had it before.. It only gets worse the longer you wait. Good luck momma 😕

my daughter had the same kind of goop in her eye too when she was 2 months and it was a tear duct infection, they gave me antibiotic drops for her eye.

Well the fact you breastfeed for 2 weeks is great!👏🏻👏🏻❤️ and yeah you need to take her in. Just in case. You can never be too careful with your baby!

im hoping its not pink eye @jkkl85 I got it a lot as a kid! I thought it started looking like and infection @coraanne I asked my mom she said she thought it may be a cold in the eye, I guess I used to get it.

it doesnt sound crazy @ofeliac the discourage part is I dont have any for her I was only able to feed for 2 weeks and lost my production I tried everything to keep it

might sound crazy but if you put some of your breastmilk in her eye it will help her. like 4 drops.
