Ok I am freaking out... I just had my doctors appointment and I had a vaginial exam. It was about an hour and a half ago. I just got home and went to the bathroom and there was like brownish blood on the toilet paper and it's only on the toilet paper. Is that bad? What is it? I am also cramping a lot on my upper stomach and my lower stomach on the sides but more on the other sides of my belly button... What is this? I am 39 weeks and the doctor just said my cervix isn't opens very much.... I am not sure what to do!!! Please help

No she didn't sweep my membrains. It never hurts like this and hasn't bleed at all my whole pregnancy so I don't know. It only gets tight for a second but it comes back every two seconds no joke. And idk it's been just this one time so I rly don't know what it is. I called my mom who's at work right now and she told me to just rest my feet up and try not to stress of it gets worse then call her back.

Also sounds like contractions. Does your belly get really tight when it's cramping? My contractions started at 28 weeks and I didn't know it till I went to the hospital because of pain and it felt exactly like you are describing. Exactly like period cramps

Did they sweep your membranes? Sounds like mucus plug. It's normal.

If nothing else call your Obgyn office explain it to them

It could be you losing your mucous plug. I never lost mine because I had to have my son by c-section 3 weeks early. But with you being so close to your due date that could be it
