How much does a 5 week old drink? Pretty sure Ezra is over eating. Do babies even do that???

mine ate 4oz at 5 weeks now he drinks 5 or 6oz every 4 hours.

Four oz usually but at night 6 oz every five hours

I was wondering the same thing, in fact i was gonna ask too, cause i feel like my baby is eating too much, but this post just gave me the answer. 😅

I "breast feed him" but since i feel like i don't have have enough milk i give him two oz of formula but he doesnt seem satisfied until he drinks 3 oz or sometimes 4 oz i feel like is too much for a one month old but i guess 😕

My son is 8 weeks in 2 days and he eats 2-3 oz every 3 hours. if he has more than 3 oz he gets the hiccups and spits some out... so 2-2.5 oz is perfect. .

@rainana00, I stopped breast feeding it was getting to be too much. He now drinks 5 oz every five hours @mssjudyk does he have reflux?

I tried formula feeding my son but he won't drink it... he stopped taking the bottle because of it... so I HAVE to breastfeed.. he only likes my breast milk... no he doesn't have reflux.. it only happens when I feed him mire than 3 oz... I can tell he's super full. I'm gonna try to give him 3 oz every 3 hours them try to.go up to 3.5oz every 4 hours..

it's definitely overwhelming me cuz now I'm working.... but I won't.complain, I noticed that he was always bloated eith the formula. .. and he gained a whole pound and a half in one week... I saw formula wasn't good for him... I rather over whelm my self for now.. he just looked so uncomfortable. .
