Don't feel so bad! Lots of mommys do it! Plus it will make it easier to push! Pushing and having contractions just sounds like no fun. I had an epidural my 1st time around. Felt so good seeing contractions and not crying because of the pain lol

I am right there with you. I was 8cm when I received the epidural. Should have stuck it out. My back killing me now.

my first i had an epidural. ..i was lucky if i hadnt i would have been knocked out for my surprise csection...

@drewmarie, very...i was able to be awake and see her little face...i didn't want the epi at first but the contractions took my breath away and the dr said no more...
