What do you mean by track them?

Mine was entirely in my back and I didn't know they were contractions at first. The nurse told me because she saw them on the monitor. They were at regular intervals and intensified as time went on. So I would track them to see if they are truly contractions or just BH or prodromal labor.

I'm a ftm and haven't had my baby yet but going off of what my doctor said those sound like contractions to me.

I just don't want to not know. my friend just had her baby & She wasn't sure she was having contractions & waited till the last second to go to the hospital.

yes. but the most pain is in my lower back not my stomach. even when it tightens , my back is what hurts the most.

I just seen my doctor earlier today and I asked him . He said they feel like intense muscle cramps wither in your lower back, stomach, or pelvic region.

@lillady, my stomach has been hurting really bad lately. & it's like an off & on feeling. it tightens like a fist & stays that way for a min at the most.. but how do I know for sure they are contractions?

I had the same exact question... I asked the RN when I went for my non stress test last week and she said the same thing, You'll know when you are having them because it's unlike anything else you've probably felt. So I just said okay and I'm just waiting it out lol
