All babies are like this. It's natural. They switch on their own with time. Takes tons of patience but it's so worth it ☺️

Yeah they aren't used to the whole night and day thing. tell him to calm down he can't yell at the baby. that only makes it worst try rocking or singing or shhhing in his ear that could help. and you need to sleep when he does during the day

He's only 6 days old. He's go. A sleep all day lol my son didn't start sleeping through out the night until he turned 2 months.

@mommytomaximus, There's nothing u can do especially that young!!! They cannot tell the difference between day and night just yet give it time! It's a newborn baby, And your SO is acting crazy smh he's a baby he can't help it. That is crazy, And yes they tell you to sleep when they sleep, trust me it's not going to last forever!! I wish my SO would yell at our son thank God he's very patient and great to him. Put our feet down once again he's a baby tell him to get over it!!!

Nooooo! Poor tiny baby! He just entered this world. He doesn't know day and night. It'll take a couple-few months. Try to sleep when he does if U can! If it makes U feel better. It took my baby adam 4 months! Lol lately he's up MOST the night . He had colic so he cried nonstop for no reason a lot the first 4 months

@chantebrandon, girl I do yell at him telling him that he's just a baby and he's a newborn.. He's gonna cry but he yells at me saying "lose your fucking attitude" and I just shut up.... @mamabritt @squeakpipsmommy0607 I kinda figured there wasn't anything to do cause how young he is right now. Man he wanted this baby too and it's like he has to sleep and not me.. Cause he works he says.. Like what the fuck am I doing? Taking care of his kid 24/7 everyday... Yeah he lets me take naps here and there during the day when he's off on weekends but when he comes home from work it's like he's the one that has to rest and I can't. I try to sleep when my son sleeps but i can't it's weird...

Yeah when it comes to my baby, I don't play. no one yells at my child. How can someone even be angry with a baby. They have NO clue what's going on

@mommytomaximus, tell Matt that you need your rest aswell because if you don't your body can shut down on you and then you won't be any help

@mommytomaximus, you need to tell him to help you i got really sick cause all i was doing was taking care of the baby .i didnt sleep i forgot to eat alot too.I made my sons dad move out because of that .he never wanted to help even during the day he always had an excuse .I hope you find something that works for you hun .

Tell him if he keeps up that behavior , you will take baby away for good! Wth will he do when the baby is a little bigger and does the usual things that curious babies do? Tell him to calm down starting now!

Most FTM have a hard time sleeping when baby sleeps at first, it'll get better for both you and baby. When you're more comfortable being a momma sleep will come a little easier for you. I'm sorry your SO isn't being kind, Your son is lucky to have you as his mother! I know you couldn't take baby away from dad for good but it's not good for him to be yelled at and it could cause a lot of emotional/insecurity issues with baby. Maybe next time your SO yells at him, tell him in a calm voice that your son doesn't know that he's doing something thats upsetting daddy and that yelling will only make it worse and try to take baby into another room. Also take as much help from your mom, I know you want your SO to take responsibility too but right now it seems it's all on you, it's ok to take help from willing hands.... It'll save your sanity and keep you healthy mentally and physically. Stay strong momma, you're doing wonderful!

@coraanne, me and him had a talk today, he said he was sorry he's just tired and that he won't do it again. I understand he's tired but look at me.. and thank you!! my momma is such wonderful help. I love my baby boy so much!! 💙😫😍 I'm so happy he's here now
