Ladies do contractions start off as period cramps? I cant sleep, i have alot of back pain & i been peeing alot.

Yes! I was in a labor at my friends house all day. It felt like I was on my period but a little more intense. Starr timing them!!

my started as mild period cramps and progressively got more painful.

yea mine lasted all day I had no idea it was contractions I was cleaning the day before so I just thought I was sore .... but at 10pm they got stronger and at 1230am my water broke and I had my baby at 125am

mine started off as being very uncomfortable and just I hurt everywhere no matter how I layed or if I sat up or anything. then I noticed a pattern when the pain hit hard in my back and belly and I figured out I was in active labor

ok girls thanks... i will start timing them.

they are contractions they just haven't fully progressed. if they get stronger within a shorter time frame start timing them!!!
