When do doctors start checking your cervix for dilation? I can't remember

I just got checked out yesterday... I'm 36 weeks.

my dr checked my at 38 weeks. I think it just depends on the dr my friend got check around 36 and my other friend is due in 2 weeks and they haven't checked her at all

I'm almost 30 but I'm high risk for preterm so maybe soon for me I'm not sure

I can't wait until my little princess is here
