This may sound stupid & NASTY to say the least, but as my days get closer and contractions speed up all I try and do is EAT as much as I can then try and (POOP) as fast as possible so that I can avoid pooping during labor. .. seriously. .. why am I being paranoid !? (fyi. I watched my godson being born..and seeing CRAP come out of my gf was not expected)

I worried about this, too, but honestly when I started getting contractions, I crapped my brains out (at home) and I have heard this is common in the first stage. Plus, they don't typically let you eat during labor, so if you can get it all out beforehand, you should be fine. I do remember clenching my butt while pushing my baby out just in case, though lol.

But it does happen and you're all spread eagle and vulnerable anyways, you get to the point during labor where you have no shame and you just don't care what's going on down there lol. Just have people you're comfortable with in the room. I've heard that the nurses are always prepared for poopers and they just clean it up right away and don't say anything if you don't say anything lol. Is that how they did it with your friend?

I'm scared too. he'll I've even considered having an enema on hand just in case. but I have heard that it a practically unavoidable.

There is so much going on and your in pain you completely forget about it! Plus your pushing so hard for your baby you won't even notice if you do or don't lol but with my 1st pregnancy I worried about that too lol🙊🙈

I was worried about that too, so I wouldn't push correctly sometimes during labor in fear of pooping. 😩😂 when I finally stopped focusing on the fact that I may poop and started pushing for real, she started sliding down the birth canal. Lmao.

Trust me, when the time comes you really won't care. Nobody cares and the doctors won't even tell you if you did, they just clean it up and bam everything's back to normal. I didn't poop but my sister did and she didn't know she did. They cleaned it up super quick and didn't tell her she did.
