So not sure what to think but I've had all day this urge to pee CONSTANTLY and I mean as soon as I get done peeing and off the toilet I feel like I could piss myself . I figured this is a new stage of pregnancy whatever . Well now I wake up with left side back pain about a hand print above my hip. Pain but also like a burning in my back. I've had a kidney infection and I'm kinda thinking this is the beginning of it (I haven't had one since I was 14) I go to the doctors Tuesday . Should I wait and tell the doctor or go to the er tomorrow ? It's not terrible pain just uncomfortable.

I'm not even sure that that is what it is. I hate having to go to the ER with tons of germs and all is what sucks ! @ftmbabyboy11

I don't think it would hurt to wait till your appointment. in the mean time I would try and flush out your urinary tract. lots of water (tap water only. bottles contains calcium that has been proven to cause UTIs) and cranberry juice. if it gets worse though I would either call your doctor or go to the ER

Thank you @maxx I think I will go by how I feel when I wake up in the morning it's not unbearable by NO means. Just the back pain is a little uncomfortable and the urge to pee is annoying but I don't have any burning when I urine or anything . I hate to make a trip to the ER where there is a million and one germs where I could come out worse than I went in for no reason. Fingers crossed I can make it till Tuesday 🙏🏻

Definitely sounds like a UTI. Do you have an urgent care clinic you can go to in order to avoid the ER? Just a thought.

@countrymommy0916, doesn't souNd like a UTI. Your kidneys the two flanks semi lateral to your back exactly where you explained where the pain is coming from. UTI is usually not painful. Just the frequent and possible burning upon urination. And you have a history of kidney infection so that's cause of concern and you should go to your nearest ED. When you go to ED just always remember hand washing number one prevention for the spread of infection
