I hate that :/ the only reason to keep a child from the father (or any other family) is if they are a threat to them. If you are pissed he doesn't want to be with you or you broke up with him cause you "don't like him anymore" those aren't reasons to keep a child away.

I hate people that use their kids as pawns. It doesn't matter the relationship you have with your ex. If they are trying to see their child you should let them unless they would be irresponsible and put them in danger. At the end of the day it's only going to hurt the child if you keep the away just to be mean.
