you can go to 42 weeks! technically you could go longer but after 42 weeks the placenta starts to break

My first pregnancy I was 2 weeks late. This pregnancy I'm hoping for the same thing... natural labor. Although I had a c-section the first time around.

If you don't want to be induced they can't force you, they may try to scare into it but don't let them, they just want to rush things. It's normal for some babies to need more time, sometimes that's a few days, two weeks or even more.

they try to induce you because babies just continue to gain 1/2 pounds a day and it makes it harder on you

Of course there are definitely emergency circumstances that call for immediate induction but it's not common for doctors to induce women for actual medical reasons.

Well my second that was 8 days late was 9lbs4ozs come from a family of big babies I went to get induced and labor started own its own ....,oh but my third they pushed up my due date by 9 days but I know my body because it's me and I just don't want to be rushed especially since they took away some of my days....just trying to make some since of it
