are you bleaching or dying? dying isn't as harmful on your hair and if you can get someone to help you, they can get it to where it's not on your scalp because your hair most likely won't fall out but you can have a bad reaction on your scalp. lol there's a lot of people that have sensitivities as long as you don't leave it in too long, or be somewhere where it's really hot you should be fine.. and use cold water to wash it out.

They might but look at the ingredients, because certain henna products have chemicals in them and you do not want to mix real henna with chemicals. The way henna works is by "fusing" with your natural root color and structure, henna embeds itself deeply in your roots which significantly alters the health of your hair and goes through your body and bloodstream. By mixing chemicals with henna and applying it (even bleaching your hair before adding the henna) will actually damage your root structure long term because of the henna will remain- it is a permanent dye, whatever is with henna will also remain. So just read the ingredients carefully, you are looking for body quality henna. You can mix teas, stained vegetables such as beets, fruits, lemons, herbs, and coffee to alter the color a bit, making it darker or more red or lighter. The henna I used was from Lush and it was super awesome, my hair felt and looked the best it ever did, however lush products are expensive that bar cost me $25, I mean it can go a long you won't necessarily need the whole bar depending on how much hair you have. There are much cheaper quality hennas out there, maybe check any local Indian stores/grocers/pantries, otherwise there is also the internet.
