They raise the rent every year out here they say it's based on the real estate market n I was ok with that because when we first signed he said it would only be a 5$ increase but he lied 😒 @mommiesworld

Time to look for a house. I know the feeling though, our rent is raised every year... last year a $50 increase. Good luck if you pursue looking for a new home.

@hennamama, yes I'm def not ready to house hunt but I did the math and owning is better than renting even though I love renting because o the onsite maintenance...I know I'm a little lazy lol

wow NJ is so expensive.. i live like 2hrs away from nj and i wanted to move down there till i saw how much rent was 😦 its crazy!! i live in a 2br duplex with basement, garage 1.5 bathrooms and its huge and all i pay is 875.00

@julie27, yeah girl don't even bother coming out here your better going more south smh...and I can get a cheaper rent out here but I'd have to live in a shitty neighborhood and I'm just not with it..for all that I can just move back to the Bronx lol

yes i agree..!! and trust you're better off getting your own house than paying less rent in a shitty neighborhood.. especially if you have kids its not worth it. I'm just trying to go down to Hoboken NJ to Carlo's bakery before having my baby lol 😀 @wisky80wife
